This series contains correspondence, memorandums and contract modifications related to several Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) contracts. A typical file contains contractor proposals, basic contracts, supplemental agreements, JPL procurement requisitions and justifications, contract modifications and the contractor's final report. Contracts vary in scope from the JPL food service contract with Madison United Food Management Services, Inc. (1966-1969) to the contract with Brigham Young University professor Douglas E. Jones to analyze data from the Mariner II, IV and V missions to Mars and Venus (1969-1970). Other contracts of interest include contracts with Motorola, Inc., International Telephone and Telegraph Corp.
